You all are so good about encouraging me to submit my work to various shows, contest, etc. Thank you!

Last fall someone sent me a link : https://nar-conference.uni.edu/posters and suggested I submit a design.
I decided to submit a version of a design for a sign I created to carry in the Women’s March held in Des Moines, Iowa in January of 2017; I submitted it and promptly forgot about it.

Fast forward to this month when the North American Review contacted me:

“Congratulations, your Open Space of Democracy design was selected by Imagining America at the University of Northern Iowa as one of six honorable mentions out of forty posters to be exhibited at the North American Review Writing Conference April 19-21, 2019. You're invited to attend the opening session of the conference at 3:30 in the Commons Ballroom on the UNI campus here in Cedar Falls, Iowa, where we will also be launching the exhibit. Please let us know if you can come so we can thank you and honor your work in person. Terry Tempest Williams will be in attendance, as will the our featured writers, presenters, and community members.”

How nice! So please keep sending those links to competitions/stockists, etc. I appreciate your help!
