It's been awhile since I had the time to sit and listen and ponder through my sketching. These last few months I have used the majority of my time cleaning, painting (with gallons of paint and a four inch brush) and bringing neglected spaces back to life as we waited for a medical situation to resolve and head towards healing--- with watchful caregiving. Creativity has always brought a sense of balance and healing across my life. The process, not the end product, is where I find peace.

The gentle words from the Sermon on the Mount (Matt 5: 3-12) are so comforting during these challenging days in our world at large. They feel like a cool breeze flowing through a colorful garden. I breathe in the peace so needed in these days.
